Painted Christmas Suite Collection

Today I’m sharing a project using the Painted Christmas Suite Collection. It’s Sunday Sketches day on my blog when I share a card made using one of our exclusive Border Buddy Sketches. I find that starting with a sketch makes it easier for me to start creating. This is especially true when I feel I’ve lost my stamping mojo. This was the sketch I used for today’s card.

It may seem that I didn’t follow the sketch but it’s meant to be a starting point. You can make your card exactly like the sketch or use some of the elements. My card has three elements to represent the circles on the sketch and I did use the basic measurements in my version.

Painted Christmas Suite Collection using Border Buddy exclusive sketch

The embossing on the Soft Sea Foam piece was created using the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder featured in the 2021-2022 Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalogue. There are two folders included – one with the pine bough and one with snowflakes.

My card also features the Gold Holly Leaves and Wonderful Gems to give it some bling! It was hard to pick a patterned paper because all the paper in the Painted Christmas 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper is so pretty.
