Well, I’m back from the Stampin’ Up! Convention in Salt Lake City. It was so much fun – the swapping, the rubbah, the friends…oh my! Here I am with my sister Mo from Toront0 (centre) and my downline Elaine (right) from Kamloops at the Pep Rally night at Convention!
We learn so many new things at Convention that your head is really swimming with the possibilities when you get home. I’m going to be incorporating some of the great new techniques and tips I learned in future classes and stamping club meetings.
Speaking of Clubs…if you are spending an average of $32 per month on stamping stuff you should really join a club and take advantage of your purchases by becoming a hostess. My clubs run for 7 months and with a commitment of $32 each month you can be the hostess in one of those 7 months! You’ll earn a free Hostess set (you can increase sales in your hostess month by having your own party or by getting outside orders!) and merchandise. Plus each month we’ll learn new techniques – it’s like getting a class for free!
Demonstrators are just like any other customers…when we see something we never thought we’d want from the catalogue being demoed on stage we are so "Oh, gotta have that!"…my personal "gotta have that!" items this year were the new table top cutter – OMG…it can cut slivers of paper and the handle and extension arm detach for storage under the unit making it much more portable than I’d thought! It’s a WOW!
Love the new Simply Scrappin’ kits – you can make 20+ cards out of one package! The new punches are to die for…never thought I’d "need" the new label punch but it’s been ordered too! LOL
Love the new chipboard accents and the accessories coming in the Winter Mini (Sept 1st) are fabulous…including ATC chipboard albums you can decorate – the inside protectors store you ATC’s beautifully! If you want to see any of the new products including the beautiful ribbons and colour brads please come out to my studio for a peek…I’d love to show you all the new gadgets and accessories from this year’s catalogue.
Happy Stamping!
Alison
