WOW…I was in a swap with my friends this week and received some fabulous creations. I’ve created a new photo album called Winter Mini 2006 to share them with you.
If you are a customer of mine you should have received your complimentary copy of the Holiday Mini Catalogue in the mail by now – let me know if you don’t have it yet and I’ll get it out to you. You’ll be able to view it online beginning this Friday by going to my website at www.asolven.stampinup.net an clicking on the link!
I love so many things in the Mini this time that my pocket book has taken a huge "hit". LOL Even demonstrators say "oh no…why did you show me that!" because then we "need" everything too!
In no particular order I love…the new Holiday Thyme double sided Designer Paper (check out how Pam used them in her swaps in the Holiday Mini photo album), the Stiched Grosgrain Ribbon in 3 of the new In-Colors (OMG..to die for!), the On Board Bitty Book (great for creating a little album as a gift for Christmas, Birthdays, etc – a customer of mine is going to decorate them and give them to friends & family for Christmas so they can fill them with their own memories); the Ribbon Keepers – finally no more tangled ribbon!! and last but not least the Halloween Night Designer Paper (I don’t stamp anything Halloween themed but the colours in this paper are fabulous and I’ll use it for other projects!)
Okay…and then there were the stamp sets…Snow Flurries (how cute is this set – see what my friend Eleonor created using this set); Quick Cards (you can use them individually or stamp both side at the same time, fold the card in 1/2 and voila..an instant front and back design!); Think Big (LOVE LOVE LOVE this set – perfect for cards and scrapbooking!). The are the sets I could "justify" buying (so far!) but…..
I also love the little Ornamassortment (I’m imaging how many times I’ll be trying to stumble through this name in the next 3 months!) and my sister Mo did some beautiful samples in the Holiday Mini photo album using this adorable set. In the sample to the left she combined them with the new papers and the Love Note cards – instant cards! The little dog on the sled from Sassy & Seasonal (ohhh…hope I can resist this one); Perfect Ending (what can I say…they are perfect) Thoroughly Thankful (again I don’t do Thanksgiving cards but Liane made some lovely samples with this set in my photo album, especially with the little flowers..the pumkins would be awesome for a scrapbook page.
Basically I really like everything in the book – even the scary halloween figures in Best Fiends – I mean that bat and spider are adorable aren’t they? I also think the sayings in Just Between Friends are funny…"I brake for frogs" and "It’s time for a little brewhaha"..okay…I’m losing it!
Hope you enjoy my new additions to the photo albums. I have tons of new classes for September and October and more on the way. Please check them out on my website under my Opportunities and Events page – just click on the calendar. Keeping checking back as I add new ones each week. The "It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas" stamp camp is filling quickly and space is limited so RSVP asap ok (boy..this is beginning to look like my kids MSN shorthand).
Happy Stamping!
