Good Morning Stampers,
Town & Country, an upscale magazine, printed an article entitled Halloween Etiquette broken down into lessons . You can read the entire article at this link. http://magazines.ivillage.com/townandcountry/style/graces/articles/0,,284698_703279-1,00.html.
Lesson #1 states "I have a huge regard for homemade items even today and particularly admire handcrafted greeting cards. Of course, it’s far easier to buy a salutation than it is to sit down and create one. But which kind will be treasured long after the occasion has passed? Homemade or Hallmark?"
How many times have your heard a friend or family member say "you made this?". I’ve had customers tell me that they have friends who keep their cards displayed long after the occasion and more than once I’ve heard of people framing homemade card fronts. Once you’ve given someone a homemade card you can never go "store bought" again.
Homemade really is from the heart.
Happy Stamping!
