Good Morning,
I’ve officially had it with all this snow and cold (-18 degrees today)! I have to admit that it does look like a picture postcard outside my window. These are pictures taken from my kitchen window of our beautiful BC mountains – isn’t it breathtaking! The bright light in all this snow weather is the brilliant sunshine and crisp blue skies we are getting – something we aren’t used to at this time of year. It’s supposed to snow another 5 – 10 cm today (that’s about 2 – 4 inches for my non-metric readers) followed by freezing rain…yikes…then it’s back to our normal climate by Saturday (that’s rain and about 6 degrees) Yea!
My downline, Roz, drove through the snow and ice to deliver her swaps last night – we stampers are such troopers! As always, her cards are stunning! Here’s a sample using the set Butterfly of Happiness from the Winter Mini – you can see the rest of her cards in my Winter Mini Photo Album to the right of this message. I love the way Roz cut out the 2 wings of the butterfly – just gorgeous!
Liane Binder’s swap cards were from the set Like It a Latte! I love the way Liane coloured the peppermint stick the same colour as the stripes in the new Loves Me Designer Paper. Isn’t that clever?
Bev Ennis’ set was Love Always and Bev made this stunning card using Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder – you should see how the Lovely Lilac cardstock shimmers. Just a beautiful presentation!
Check out all their cards in my Winter Mini Photo Album to the right of this message.
Happy Stamping,
Alison
