As if I need another addiction….well I’ve entered the wonderful world of Simply Scrappin’ kits and I’m in LOVE with them. I made 2 journals, an On Board Bitty Book and TWELVE cards using the contents of the kit (this one is the Free Sell-A-Bration Just Delightful set) along with some brads a "bit" of ribbon. I won’t be giving up stamping but this really is so fun!
This is one of the On Board Bitty Books covered with the Designer Papers from the kit and embellished with the Die-Cut pieces. You just get carried away with all the layering you can do with the die-cuts.
The theme of my book was my garden and here’s one of the inside pictures. These would be perfect for a little baby album or theme like birthday, Christmas or art.
I bought a spiral journal at the dollar store and covered it with the papers and again embellished it with the die-cuts. Add a few ribbons on the spine and you’ve got a nice journal.
This is a smaller version using a small composition book. The tabs for the sections are also from the kit.
Then I made twelve cards using the die-cuts and the paper from the kit. Please check out all my creations in my Photo Album called Simply Scrappin’. All the projects came from one kit and, believe it or not, I still have pieces and paper left!
Check out the other Simply Scrappin’ Kits available in the Idea Book & Catalogue or earn the Just Delightful set FREE during Sell-A-Bration. I’ll be offering a class using this set soon!
Happy Stamping,
Alison (in YES it’s snowing again BC)
Oh my gosh, Alison, these projects are so adorable. I really like the Sell-A-Bration Just Delightful Simply Scrappin’ Kit – I like it so much, I haven’t been able to bring myself to actually use it… I think I need some sort of intervention to help me get over my desire to stash everything away so that I don’t run out!! LOL. I may just have to CASE some of these projects as therapy… TFS! Bev.
Alison, I love what you did with the journal. Aren’t these kits wonderful? I have a 60 card class coming up next month…15 signed up already!!
Adorable projects. Glad to see you got so much out of just one kit. Keep on creating!
These are stunning Alison! I love the Scrappin’ Kits but tend to just look at them in awe and never use them because they’re too pretty – I’ll dig them out this weekend! Thanks for the inspiration.
I’m so impressed with these projects – I’m going to order a stampin kit a.s.a.p. Can’t wait to create some of my own.
Thanks for the inspiration,
Mo
