Hello Stampers,
I’ll be showcasing some of the great stamp sets that are retiring over the next several weeks in my classes & workshops and thought I’d share some of my favourites with you on line.
This card uses On Gossamer Wings and was created by my US friend, Denise Jorgenson. Denise joined my team at a meeting and this was one of her creations. I love the odd shape of the card – very unique. Denise also introduced us to embossing on vellum from the back of the image so the butterfly really "pops" off the page.
This adorable card was made by my sister, Mo Dickie, and uses the Pretty Princess set. Mo used the Colluzle to make the channel for the crown to spin around the princess…so clever!
Here’s another favourite stamp set of mine that’s retiring at the end of June. It’s called Espressoly for You and is a great set for all coffee lovers. It’s also a great way to enclose a gift card from one of the big coffee companies and can be used for both women and men!
Just a reminder that in addition to the 233 stamp sets that are retiring, the six In Colours released this year will also be leaving the catalogue. If you want any cardstock, ink or refills you need to order before June 30th.
Good News – Stampin’ Up! has announced that they have worked out an arrangement with the makers of the Stampin’ Around Wheels and all the retired ones are now going to be available until the end of June (not just until supplies last).
Happy Stamping!
Alison
