Hello Stampers,
My downline and I will be heading off to Denver, Colorado tomorrow for Stampin’ Up!’s annual Convention – 3 days of stamping, swapping, sharing and learning…bliss!
Many of you ask how I get so many wonderful samples to share with you. "No" I don’t make them all myself. I enter "swaps" with other SU! demonstrators. I make a set number of cards, all identical, and then "swap" them with other demonstrators. If I make 50 cards I end up with 50 different ones. This is one of my swap cards this year. It uses the Seeing Spots stamp set along with some of the new In Colours – Sky Blue, River Rock, Blue Bayou and Purely Pomegrante. I also added some Pomegranate double stitch ribbon to finish it off.
My 2nd swap card uses the Baroque Motif set.
My 3rd swap uses a slight twist on a card I received from my friend Eleonor McGarry. I wanted to use the scallop punch so added this to the card that Eleonor had designed. The card is a "McGarry" original.
All together I have about 225 swaps – 5 different designs – to take to Convention. I’m looking forward to swapping with all the other demonstrators so I can bring their ideas back to share with my customers.
I’ll be back to share on the 30th!
Happy Stamping,
Alison
