Hello Stampers,
I found the cutest projects on Jackie Topa's blog – she is truly amazing! Making her shirt card actually makes me smile – it is so adorable and fun to make. Especially when the tie just looks like a real tie – I hope the Chocolate Chip satin ribbon doesn't retire when the accessories list comes out in July. Instead of buttons I used the large Antique Brass eyelets and the inserted Rhinestone brads in the middle.
The second project I made for Father's Day was this adorable wallet – I'm not sure of the original artist but I know I got the directions from Lorrie Heiling's blog. This is fabulous! One of my customers decided to leave off the second set of inside pockets and use the space to write her sentiment. I thought that was brilliant Allison! My kids each had a gift card for their Dad so used one side each.
For the front patch I distressed a piece of card stock so I could pull apart the layer and then stamped on the inside piece. It makes the cardstock look like suede. I will write a tutorial and post it later – have to go now and do some Father's Day stuff!
Happy Stamping,
Alison
