Hello Stampers,
It wasn't that long ago that I was arranging "play dates" for my kids with their friends and now I get to have them myself. I had some friends over to play today and we had such fun! We started off the day with stamping, eating cinnamon buns from Cobs Bakery (ohhhh thanks Sue), stamping, lunch, stamping and …well you get the picture.
Each person brought a shoebox swap to share and the cards, as always, were fabulous!
Liane used the new Fresh Cut set that is on "preview" for the month of June – we won't see it permanently until the new catalogue in August. Isn't this an adorable card? – I love the way she used the colluzle to create the half oval for the edge of the card.
Sue used the fantastic Stitched Background stamp to create this awesome black and white card…with just a splash of pink. This stamp is so gorgeous in person and this card was a knockout!
Sandi's popsicle card is so darn adorable you feel like you could just lick it – love, love, love it!
My contribution was my faux wood card from the other day but this time I used the Thinking of Father stamp set. We are now all addicted to this technique. See my previous post for details.
Here we are enjoying our lunch – I always serve my "big" salad and salmon sandwiches – it's what the sistas always want – and you gotta give the sistas what they want! Plus chocolate dipped strawberries and Sandi's pickled onion..yum! I love my stampin' sisters and Stampin' Up!
Happy Stamping,
Alison
