Hello Stampers,
I've been busily getting ready for my next downline meeting on Sunday, August 24th and took some time out to snap some pictures of some of my Convention swaps. There are so many talented women (and men!) at these events and one of the best things about attending is the swaps.
Tonight I'm going to focus on some of the masculine cards I received because my customers say these are the hardest ones for them to make.
The first sample uses the On the Fly set and truthfully I never liked the images in the catalogue until I received this card – I just love the way Miran Bigrigg coloured these images and the hemp around the middle of the card just finishes it off perfectly.
I've already admitted that my friend Sonya and I are addicted to these horse sets. I just love this one by Becky Hay de Garcia from Fitchburg, WI. I love monochromatic looks and she pulled this one off beautifully with the Wanted Stamp Set.
This card by Betty Gillespie from Derby, KS is one of my favourite swap cards – Betty probably made 100 of these cards – it's just so well executed – all those layers!
Okay, Sonya…what do you think, hay? (that's horse for eh?)
If you live in Vancouver and want to come to my downline meeting as a guest you are most welcome – email me for more details.
Happy Stamping (and riding),
Alison
Giddy-up! Same stamps but two different looks. Very nice – gonna have to case them both. LOL.
