Hello Stampers & Scrappers,
Each year on the first Saturday of October is World Card Making Day. An actual day celebrating our addiction (whoops I mean hobby)..how cool is that?
Each year I plan an event to celebrate the day – this year I have an all day event on Saturday, October 4th planned from 10 am – 4 pm. I've secured a large room in the space formerly occupied by my friend's store, Remember Me Scrapbooking, in Coquitlam. The address is #103 – 250 Schoolhouse – just up the street from the Silver City Theatres.
Here's how the day will look….
You may choose to attend my class – Bin' Stampin'? anytime during the day – this is a self-paced class where you will make a minimum of 6 cards from a choice of 12 offered. Each card and all the products you need to complete it are placed in a shoebox. You pick up the entire box and take it to your workstation, make the card and then return the box to the pile. You then take another box, complete the card, return and take the next one…and so on until you've made your 6 cards. The cost of the class is $20. You may choose to make additional cards from the 6 remaining choices – each one will cost $2 but if you end up making all 12 cards the cost is $30.
You may prefer to attend the day and spend it scrapbooking or cardmaking at your own pace with other enthusiastic people – the cost for this option is $10, however if you sign up for the Bin' Stampin? class you may stay and crop for free!
I will have door prizes and tons of samples on display to inspire you. Please bring your cameras to take pictures!
I hope you will join me to celebrate our love of papercrafts! Check out my flyer and please RSVP early as space is limited!
Happy Stamping,
Alison
