Here's what I've been up to the last several days – buying a suit, shoes and other accessories for my son for his graduation pictures (formal and gown) – he doesn't graduate until June but apparently this all needs to be done by the end of September to meet year book deadlines. This all required driving into downtown Vancouver 3 times in the past 5 days – I know you big city folks are thinking it's no big deal but while Vancouver is a "little" big city there is so many one way streets and construction that it's a nightmare to navigate. We had to do a "drive by" to pick up the suit after it was altered! LOL
I wanted to take a quick photo of Ian as we left the house for the photographer. This wasn't the best place for the picture but it was so sunny yesterday when we were leaving that there wasn't a place in the garden that I could have him stand without the sun in his eyes so this had to do for my "shot".
While we were waiting at the photographers we ran into a "kid" Ian used to play soccer with when they were little and they both looked so grown up – his Mom and I just shook our heads.
It was so nice to see him dressed up in a suit and tie. The photographer was trying to get him to smile but he thinks he has a goofy smile. She said "but your dimples show when you smile" – he laughed but we couldn't get him to smile.
Where does the time go?
Happy Stamping!
Alison
