Hello Stampers,
More cold weather and more snow expected in the next few days. I know people in other parts of the country think we are whinners here on the Westcoast but we don't have the clothes, snow tires, snow removing equipment that people in other climates are used to so it makes it difficult for us to get around – add to that the hills (think Chicago weather on San Francisco hills) and you have a recipe for disaster. Our snow tends to be wet and heavy so it freezes up quickly too. Gosh we really are whinners! LOL It's days like this (at -20) that I really think I need to replace my 1945 single pane windows and add some insulation to the attic! BUT at least the Canada Post letter deliveries are unaffected so here's some more mail day deliveries..
This is a really pretty card using the Top Note (exclusive to SU!) die for the Big Shot machine and was made for me by my sister, Ellie Blake. Ellie is a newly retired school teachers (after 33 years) and is now a SU! demonstrator in Ontario. Her real love was always sports and she was a very successful athlete and PE teacher and now we have finally (we is my other sister Mo and I) brought her into the cult (I mean stamping community). Isn't this an awesome card! She can't call herself a "beginner" anymore.
I love this stamp set and my dear friend, Liane Binder, has done it justice as always! The set is Season of Joy and I was so glad it wasn't retired this year. It's so pretty and can be used in so many ways.
I love the little 1/2 pearl in the center of the poinsettia flower from the same set.
Another keeper Liane!
This is such a pretty layered card from another dear friend, Pam Lee who is also in my downline.
I love the precise cutting on this card – something that Pam is famous for – not an easy thing to do believe me! She makes it look so easy. Don't you love the way she's added the brads on the tree to add some interest and dimension?
Another WOW….
Happy Stamping!
Alison
