Big Shot Projects

March 27, 2009 by Alison Solven

Aloha,

I forgot to share the projects from our last Big Shot club.  There are three new dies available for the Big Shot on April 1st – 3D Cake, 3D Ball and Matchbox.  All are adorable and fun to make!  We saw some awesome ways to use the Matchbox dies here in Hawaii and I can't wait to make them when I get home.

Our Matchbox die project was designed by my friend Liane Binder (check out her puppy blog on our dog Cooper who she is taking care of while we are in Hawai'i!)

Liane used the Parisian Breeze Designer Paper along with the butterfly from a new set called Great Friends in the Occasions Mini Catalogue (starts April 1).  We used the Baby Wipe technique to colour the butterfly.

Here's the outside and inside of the card we made using the 3D cake from Stampin' Up!  This die is exclusive to Stampin' Up! until the fall so if you want to be one of the first to own it contact me for ordering information.

Just before I left on vacation I found this gorgeous card in my mailbox from my friend Karen Bernoe.  Karen is just such a talented stamper.  She joined our swap group for the upcoming Occasions Mini and I can't wait to show you her cards…..just amazing!

And one more thing to share before I go back to basking in the sun (tough life but someone has to do it!).  At my last Technique Club we learned the Masking technique.  Check out what my customer Tim McKenzie created – all with the masking technique.  Very cool!

It's a Stamper's Fruit Salad!  Love it!

Aloha,

Alison
