Hello Stampers,
I'm really excited to be involved in a large Breast Cancer Fundraiser. It will be held on Saturday, May 30th and Sunday, May 31st at the Granville Island Hotel. I will have a booth with my stampin' buddies and will be offering four classes during the two day event.
This event is sponsored by I'm Impressed Rubber Stamping Store which is located in the Kid's Market at Granville Island and I'll be joined by some impressive guest teachers including Julie Ebersole of Amuse Stamps.
One of my classes is called 3 Men and A Baby and will feature three masculine projects and one baby card (I love making baby cards).
Here are my projects – the "shirt card" was designed by the fabulous Jackie Topa. The baby card was adapted from one I found online (the artist linked back to someone else for the original idea – of course I can't find either name so if it's your layout let me know and I'll credit you!)
The Chef card is embossed and incorporates some colouring techniques along with Direct to Paper and 2 Step stamping.
There is also a wallet card – many demos have contributed and tweaked this one – which I have changed up a bit to include the faux aligator technique with some direct to paper to create something that really feels like a real wallet – it's perfect for Father's Day or Birthday and you can enclose a gift card or cash!
Here's the inside of the wallet – please note: The $20 is not included in the class – LOL
Each class at the event is $40 and includes all your precut materials – remember that the net proceeds goes to charity so I hope to see you out! I know that, like me, you have most likely had someone in your life fight this horrific disease and while my aunt and friends are survivours (thank goodness) many good women have lost their battles – we must provide more research to stop this disease – let's do our part by STAMPING it OUT!
Please drop by our booth to say hello and to enter a draw for some great prizes – we will also have an awesome make n' take using the fabulous Big Shot Die Cut machine – can you say "Show Stopper Special?"

Happy Stamping,
