Stamp Crazy with Alison

Cards keep on rolling…

December 27, 2009 by Alison Solven

27 Dec

Hello Stampers,

More cards from friends and customers – I love them all!

Christmascards2009 027-1 From my customer and friend Isabel Eckford and a Scot too! We share lots of stories about Scotland – so fun!

Christmascards2009 028-1 From Barb Marples – I think Barb used the dryer sheet technique (not sure?) and this is so beautiful in person – it really looks like a snowy wonderland.

Christmascards2009 030-1Jill McNab – this is sparkly in real life (hard to capture in a picture) and the colour scheme is perfect for Christmas!

Christmascards2009 031-1 Vicki Drinovz – aren't these little snow people adorable?  Snuggling up together to keep warm – they better be careful or else they'll melt!  So cute!

Christmascards2009 036-1  Lisa Pedrini – my downline – beautiful card – I really love the non-traditional colours and of course Dasher too!

Christmascards2009 041-2  From my sister (and fellow SU! demo in Toronto) Mo Dickie – Mo actually sent us three handmade cards (one each) – this is the one she sent to my son Ian – isn't it adorable – pull the ribbon and santa rides across the card!

Christmascards2009 042-1 I CASED this card from a number of different samples I found online – it was really fun to make – it uses both the torn edge and masking techniques – it was for my son and enclosed his Grouse Mountain ski pass.  The message was "No spills, thrills or broken bones" – last year it was his collar bone so hopefully we'll have a clean slate this year (touch wood!).

Last of my cards tomorrow….I think!

Alison
