Hello Stampers,
In the current Stampin' Success Magazine (free to SU! Demonstrators) is a wonderful article entitled "Patterns for Paper-Piercing" and includes a "How To" on enlarging bold images using the My Digital Studios software program.
First you select the image you want from the available ones in MDS and enlarge it to the size you want (another awesome advantage of the software is you can take a small image and make it any size you want or vice-versa and place it on your scrapbook page or card design). Print and cut out the images to use as a pattern. Trace the pattern on desired card stock or Designer Series paper and cut out the image and adhere to project.
One of my customers, Maureen Mark, took this idea using the raccoon from the "Under The Stars" stamp set as her image. She traced the enlarged image on felt and finished "Rocky" off using embroidery thread and eyelets. SOOO adorable on the homemade stocking she made for her daughter. Isn't it fabulous? Thanks for sharing Maureen.
If you own My Digital Studios you no longer have to be limited to the original size of each stamped image – you can go bigger or smaller. Remember if you have a program like Photo Shop you can download images that will work in that program too – as long as it accepts jpeg files it'll work!
To purchase and download My Digital Studio artwork (either for MDS or another program you own) go to my website and click the Shop Now button. It's that easy!
Happy Stamping,
Alison
