Stamp Crazy with Alison

Summer Mini Samples

April 21, 2010 by Alison Solven

21 Apr

Hello Stampers,

As Stampin' Up! demonstrators were are lucky for lots of reasons but one of the best perks is being able to pre-order products from catalogues.

The Summer Mini catalogue will start on May 1st and run through August 31st and it's full of fabulous stuff (as usual!).  You should receive your complimentary copy of the catalogue in the mail this week if you are on my mailing list – if you would like a copy please email me with your address and I'll add you to my list.

Here's some samples using the new stamp sets that I created for a swap I'm doing with my friends.

Allaflutter2 This card uses two new stamp sets – Elements of Style (my favourite) which is a vintage style stamp set and All a Flutter which is the butterfly.  I stamped on copper (after I treated it) and then embossed it.  I'm teaching this technique at my upcoming class at the Stamp Out Breast Cancer fundraiser on May 15th & 16th – check out the website.

The ink/cardstock is Dusty Durango and Soft Suede.

Elementsofstyle1 This black and white scheme is simple but elegant and uses the Elements of Style stamp set.  I love the "toile" look of this stamp – it matches by upstairs bathroom perfectly!

I've added one of the popular paper flowers which are so addicting to make once you know how.

I'm offering a black and white class at the Stamp Out Breast Cancer fundraiser.

More cards tomorrow….

Happy Stamping,

Alison

I love this last card and the variation you posted on SCS with the butterfly. I think I’m going to CASE for a touch of color swap I’m in, hope you don’t mind. TFS!
