Hello Stampers,
I wanted to share some more awesome cards using stamp sets from the upcoming Summer Mini Catalogue. I'm doing a swap with some friends which I love because I receive some great ideas that I can share with my customers and downline.
This first card was a Thank You I received from one of my downline in Saskatchewan – Colleen Vassos – she used the new set called Pedaling Past. I love how Colleen used the buttons as the spokes on the bicycle – so clever.
The next four cards are all by my downline, Liane Binder.
The Sweet Scoops stamp set is "delicious" and I love the fresh feel of this card. Couldn't you just lick it? The striped paper is from the new Designer Series Paper called Island Oasis. Speaking of delicious – my customer Laurie T picked up her order and brought me some homemade chocolate chip cookies – how sweet is that?! Sorry I digress….
This is a card using the Bouquet Bunch stamp set – I love how Liane used two different colours of ink to give the leaves some depth on her topiary. She is awesome at colouring images and always takes such care. She also used the new Lattice Impressions Embossing Folder for the piece at the bottom and the Spiral Punch for some detail on the top layer. This simple things add so much to a card and take it to the next level in a very easy way!
A second card using the Bouquet Bunch stamp set and the Lattice Impressions Embossing Folder. I LOVE the way she uses the textured pieces as layers for the image – how cute is that little squirrel and bird? The texture makes all the difference in this card. She also used one of her (and mine) favourite saying from the All Holiday Stamp Set.
Lastly we have the Island Oasis DP again partnered with the Tropical Party stamp set – the clear mount version of this set is $18.95 and it has 5 pieces! This card reminds me of the beaches I'll be visiting in the Caribbean next week – love the little umbrella in the coconut drink!
My sisters and my other friend Elaine are participating in this swap too and I'll have their cards to share when I get back from holidays…and speaking of holidays…I'm leaving tomorrow for my Stampin' Up! cruise to the Southern Caribbean so check back to find out about my "Cruisin' Special" which starts tomorrow and runs through until May 2nd.
Happy Stamping,
Alison
