Hi Stampers,
I've been having so much fun playing with the Smooch Pearlized Accent Inks (new product in the Idea Book & Catalogue).
Here's a card that was displayed at Convention on one of the many sample boards – the only thing I changed was the ribbon. This was a happy accident! I was trying to pleat the ribbon and I couldn't get it quite right. So I stuck down the top, middle and bottom of the ribbon and then used the new 1/8" taffeta ribbon as little ties (this is my favourite new ribbon but don't tell the Pear Pizzazz Poly Stitched that I said that!).
Now for the colouring – Diana Gibbs presented "Colouring" at Convention. I've been colouring a long time but I still learned some wonderful little tidbits from Diana that I've used on this card.
Look at the pumpkin – I coloured it with Watercolor Crayons and then I accented it with the Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink – I also highlighted her buckle on the hat the same way – it just sparkles in real life – I'm addicted!!
We'll be using the colouring technique along with the Pearlized inks at my Convention Share Class this Saturday.
Happy Stamping,
Alison
