Plane & Simple

Hello Stampers,

My friend Liane came over last week to play and we spent the day making samples using the Plane & Simple Stamp Set from the Occasion Mini.  Liane thought this would be the perfect set for the Slider technique and so this is what we came up with collectively.

These cards are really fun to make.  You need to cut a channel for the object to slide along.  In this case it's the plane.

Then you wrap a small piece of cardstock around the strip (channel) and attach your object to this little piece with a glue dot.  On the back side you secure your strip of ribbon with a glue dot to the other side of this little piece.  When you pull the ribbon the plane flies across the page.

The little car from the Loads of Love set works great with this technique too.

 

 

 

 

We created the clouds in the sky with a scallop punch and some ink and the "ground" is using the Newsprint Designer Paper map design.
