Some more samples using the Take a Spin stamp set and spinner hands.
This is an idea I got at Leadership last month. The background is made using the Letterpress plate and the Big Shot.
After trying to get these plates to work without much success, my friend, Liane Binder took me under her wing and showed me all kinds of awesome way to use them. The easiest way is to replace the top clear cutting pad with the Crease Pad. First ink up the plate with Versamark or Craft Ink (the stickiness of the ink helps the paper adhere to the plate and not slip) and place the paper on the plate. We found that if you build your sandwich right on the Big Shot platform there is less likely for slipage as you send it through the machine. The sandwich is Multipurpose platform, Letterpress plate, paper, crease pad. You can put a little bit of Dotto on the back of your paper so that the crease pad will stick temporarily.
The heart is punched from the Red Glimmer Paper . The cupid's arrow is made using the spinner hands – I used one but cut it in half so I could stretch it out to be long enough for the heart.
See you tomorrow!
Happy Stamping,
Alison
