Hello Stampers,
Sorry for the "break" in posting to my blog. My daughter, Carly, has moved to Toronto for a while to seek out jobs in her field – Game Art & Design. There are more opportunities for her there right now and while I miss her terribly I hope she's successful. Luckily my two sisters live there so she has somewhere to stay and awesome support from her Aunties.
Here's an example of the kind of thing Carly does with existing pictures/art.
The first picture is of the actor Christian Bale – just a regular publicity shot.
Then Carly uses her photo editing program(s) to alter the picture.
Here's the altered photo – I believe she's made him into a character named Garrett from one of her video games. I have no idea how she does this but I'm just amazed as what's possible. Fingers crossed that she gets a junior job there really soon!
