Hello Stampers,
Today is National Digital Scrapbooking Day and Stampin' Up! is celebrating over on their community forum – www.mydigitalstudio.net. Please go over and join the group (it's free) and from today until Monday you can receive FREE downloads of Digital content just for filling in a short survey. After Monday these same downloads will be available for a fee.
I've been working on some My Digital Studio projects this week and came up with this card that I plan to use to send to my team members.
If this card looks familar go to the Idea Book & Catalogue and turn to page 218 and you'll see a traditional card sample that I've recreated using My Digital Studios. The great thing about the program is that each page of my digital card is decorated too. It costs the same amount to print four sheets as it does the cover so why not?! The price to print the card is $2.95 but it comes with an envelope. To make the card traditionally it would cost about $2 plus $.50 for the envelope so it's really the same. I'm planning on printing 50 of them so the time factor saves money too. I can always add traditional embellishments to the card after it's printed to personalize it.
I'm working on two other Digital Cards – one for my Birthday Club and the other as Thank You cards for customers. By the time I've submitted everything my order will be over $200 and so I'll receive FREE hostess benefits of $35 too. A win-win!
And…one more benefit…my desk is clean because I didn't have to drag out my paper, inks, cutter or embellishments – they were all on my computer.
Have fun scrapbooking today!
Alison
