Stamp Crazy with Alison

Addicted to My Digital Studio

December 8, 2011 by Alison Solven

Hello Stampers,

SararesourceMDSpage

Reindeer tag-001I'm officially addicted to My Digital Studio.  I'm having my first MDS Club tonight and was playing around to find a simple project for our first timers.  I decided on this tag which features the Old St. Nick Stamp Brush Set (included in your MDS software) and the adorable little reindeer image called Dasher.  This is our first class so I've kept it simple but it covers the basics – how to add stamps, paper, change colours, alter images sizes and more!

Dasher is a digital download available for purchase and he'll be my gift to my club members tonight.

This is the front of the tag and the following picture is the back.  I printed it off on my home printer (a very basic colour printer) without any problems.  I just punched a hole and threaded a ribbon through and now I have a tag for a gift.  This could be personalized with the recipients's name too!

Reindeer tag-002The club runs for 7 months and each member of the club commits to purchasing $30 from the catalogue each month.  Once in the club cycle they are the hostess and they'll earn a minimum of $35 in free merchandise!

If you'd like to join a My Digital Club (awesome for scrapbookers and card makers alike!) please email me to be added to the waitlist for the next club.  You do need to purchase the My Digital Studio software and have it installed on your laptop which you'll bring to class.  Each month we will focus on specific projects that you'll create on your own computer.  If you don't have a laptop and would like to join the club you can – it will just require you to bring a flash drive to class so you can take the project we've created home with you to copy to your home computer.  You'll be able to follow along and the instructions for "recreating" the project will be easy to follow.

This a fun way to make multiple cards, gifts and scrapbook pages and albums quickly and easily.  And you don't make a mess of your craft room!

I hope you'll join us and learn how to use the program to it's full potential!

Happy Stamping,

Alison
