Hello Stampers,
At my last downline meeting for our team, Canada Inks Up!, one of my super talented downline, Judy Marshall, shared her brilliant idea of turning the Stocking Builder Punch into ice skates! Her card was fabulous and you can see it on her blog here. Judy is so creative and she's always bringing something amazing to our meetings to inspire us!
Here's my take on Judy's idea for the ice skates.
I used the Big Shot Northern Frost Sizzlit die for the snow flakes and the new Snow Burst Embossing Folder as my background. Otherwise I just CASED Judy's card.
Colours – Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake
Next I CASED the idea of turning the stockings into a Hobby Horse. This brilliant idea was from Jackie Topa who never ceases to amaze us all with her creative talent. This time I stamped one of the stocking images from the Stitched Stocking stamp set onto Whisper White cardstock and punched it out with the matching Stocking Builder Punch.
Colours – Marina Mist, So Saffron, Whisper White
Big Shot – Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder
Stamps – Stitched Stockings, Tiny Tags
Other – Jewelery Tag Punch, Trinkets, Whisper White 5/8" Organza Ribbon
There are even more possibilities with this stamp and punch combination like ballet slippers, baby botties, reindeers and more!
If you'd like to make these two cards along with two others using the Stitched Stocking Stamp Set and the matching Stocking Builder Punch please join me at my upcoming class.
