Stamp Crazy with Alison

Masking Tape Technique

August 25, 2012 by Alison Solven

Hello Stampers,

One of the best things about Convention is the swapping.  I love trading cards and getting tons of samples for my customers.  This year I received a beautiful card from Debbie Kramer of Sterline, IL using a technique I'd never done before – Masking Tape.  Debbie kindly provided the instructions and I've created a card and video for you so you can try it too!

Here's Debbie's original card.

Untitled 0 00 46-015

 Stamp Set:  Seree Silhouettes

Card Stock: More Mustard, Basic Black, Glossy White

Ink: More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Always Artichoke, StazOn Jet Black

Here's the card I made with the technique.

Untitled 0 00 26-027

 Stamp Set: The Open Sea

Cardstock: Marina Mist, Basic Black, Glossy White

Ink: Marina Mist, Bashful Blue, Baja Breeze, StazOn Jet Black

Other: Baja Breeze Seam Binding, Ribbon Slide, Stampin' Dimensionals

Here's the video – Enjoy!

Happy Stamping!

Alison
