One more day and it's Christmas! Where did the time go this year? It just flew by. I wanted to share a project I made using the Festive Flurry Ornament Kit (#135813 $17.95).
You start off by making the actual snowflakes which requires a glue gun (and a Silicone Craft Sheet (#127853 $7.50) if you have one!). They are so easy to make and because my ring was so big it did take about 17 of the them.
Next I wrapped a styrofoam wreath form with the 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon (#132140 $9.95). Then I hot glued the snowflake ornaments to the burlap. The kit comes with a full sheet of the Large Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#129324) but I wanted to have even more bling so used the Frosted Finishes Embellishments (#132150 $8.95) for the center of each snowflake. Lastly I added the Soft Sky Seam Binding ribbon (comes in the kit) in bows around the wreath.
It will be a keepsake I can bring out each year and it fits my mirror perfectly. And because it's snowflakes I can leave it out through January/February as a winter theme decor.
The kit includes everything you need (minus adhesive) to create 10 snowflakes, including
* 10 feet of Soft Sky Ribbon
* Printed cardstock – die cut and scored, ready to be assembled (Soft Sky, Crumb Cake, Whisper White Cardstock and Silver Glimmer Paper)
* Large Rhinestone Basic Jewels (40)
