Stamp Crazy with Alison

Have You Ever Been to Sea Billy?

July 19, 2014 by Alison Solven

19 Jul

Hello Stampers,

It's Border Buddy Saturday and it's Alison here today!  Patsy and I are enjoying ourselves at Stampin' Up!'s Convention in Salt Lake City this week and we'll both have tons of new fun ideas and products to share with you when we get home.

This week I wanted to share a fun card created by my friend Melva Peters.  Everything Melva does is so fabulous and this card is no exception – so fun! Remember that fish commercial when the Captain asks 'Have you ever been to sea Billy?" This card reminds me of this so much.

It features my favourite Designer Series Paper – Maritime.  You don't have to use it for natical themes only.

Melva made a Shaker Card (so easy with our Shaker Frames).  The candy dots around the frame make it look like a port-hole (so clever!).  This card would be great for kids or adults (especially those that love the water!)

I find our DSP is very versatile!  AND it's on sale this month.  Buy any 3 packages of your choice (the same or mix and match) and pick a fourth package for FREE!
