Stamp Crazy with Alison

Week 6 – 12 weeks of Christmas

Ornamental Pine

November 8, 2014 by Alison Solven

Hello Stampers,

WOW – I can't believe we are half way through our 12 weeks leading up to Christmas.  Where does the time go?

Today's cards use the Oranmental Pine stamp set which is absolutely gorgeous.  There are so many ways you can use these images.

FCCard3

The first card is by Kay Schwab and is one of those "simply elegant" cards.  Not difficult to make but so beautiful!  Kay embossed the pine needles and cone in White on Mossy Meadow (one of the new In Colors for 2014/2015) and then popped up this piece on another layer of Mossy Meadow.  Such a simple way to give it some WOW.  She embossed the Whisper White layer using the new On Point Textured Impressions Embossing Folder which looks like trees.  This folder can be used for any themed card, not just Christmas.

My second card is by Cynthia Millan who used the Faux Diamond technique I showed in this video to create this gorgeous presentation.  This card is so sparkly.  It reminds me of frost on the inside of the windows in winter.  Just a stunning card!

Here are the products you'll need to recreate these cards at home:
