Hello Stampers,
I love the fine detailed framelit dies that we offer but I don't love poking out all the little pieces. Sometimes I get to the last one and rip the paper. I've seen so many videos and tips on using the framelit dies with wax paper and dryer sheets to make them easier to get out of the little detailed areas. After trying several recipes this is the one I adapted for my Big Shot (because each machine is calibrated a bit differently). Now I'm pulling out all my fussy dies and love using them now!

I love the dryer sheet method, too. I didn’t learn about it until recently and it works great in my Big Shot, too. I’ve begun again using some of my intricate dies that I avoided in the past just because it was too time consuming and sometimes difficult to remove the confetti pieces without tearing my die cut…..I can relate to your comment about getting to the last one and then tearing the die cut….aaarrrrggg Problem solved now. I buy my dryer sheets at the dollar store, it it’s really inexpensive. The first time, they didn’t have unscented ones, so I bought “linen” scented….it actually made my cards smell like freshly ironed sheets…it was nice. LOL Unscented is the best route, however. Have a great day!!!
Hi Jan & Ann,
Thanks so much for leaving a comment – I’m so glad it was something that made your stamping easier!
Thanks so much Alison for this tip. I also got out some of my intricate dies the other day and tried the dryer sheet method. What a difference! So easy and clean. I am going to get some unscented dryer sheets as well. I can hardly wait for the butterflies dies to arrive.
