All Abloom Designer Series Paper Cards

April 11, 2015 by Patsy Waggoner

11 Apr

It's Border Buddies Saturday, Patsy here!

When I first received the All Abloom Designer Series Paper Stack (DSP) and started to look at all the designs and colors I was a bit overwhelmed.   I have to admit it sat on my shelf awhile before I started to use it.

All abloom paper

Once I started to look at each individual paper I could see the possibilities.  I think you will agree that the paper is what really makes the cards today.

All Abloom DSP Two Kind Stamp Set

The card base is Lost Lagoon (5 1/2" x 8 1/2") with a piece of the All Abloom DSP (4" x 5 1/4") on top.  I cut out the oval with the Big Shot & the Oval Collection Framelits* and stamped the flower from Too Kind Stamp Set.

To Kind Stamp Set

This is a two step flower and I stamped the lighter color with Lost Lagoon off stamped to give it a lighter tone.  The darker color in the flower is Island Indigo.

Off stamping is when you ink up the stamp and then stamp it once or twice on a piece of scratch paper before you stamp your card.

The mat behind the oval is Always Artichoke (2 1/2" x 3 1/2") and ran through the Big Shot with the Spring Flowers Textured Embossing Folder*.

I add a Daffodil Delight butterfly cut out with the Beautiful Wings Embosslit and a row of Pearls.

All Abloom DSP Painted Petals stamp set

Here is another sample of the All Abloom paper.  The card base is Always Artichoke.  The accent colors are Rose Red and Soft Sky.  The flowers are from the Painted Petals Stamp Set.

*due to dock strike on the west coast several items at this time we are not able to order.  But keep them on your wish list and hopefully soon everything will be restocked.
