Stampin’ Up! Decorative Label Quick Tip Technique

May 23, 2015 by Patsy Waggoner

23 May

Border Buddies Saturday, Patsy here!

I am always amazed the number of ways people find to use a punch.  Susan Campfield a Minnesota demonstrator recently showed how to make windows with the Note Tag Punch.  Since I do not have that punch (yes I know it is hard to believe I don't own everything!) I decided to try it with the Decorative Label Punch and I think it looks pretty cool.

Decorative Label Punch Window Card

The card base is Daffodil Delight 5 1/2" x 11".

The Whisper White mat is 4" x 5 1/4"

The Real Red Cardstock is cut a 3 5/16" x 3 5/16"  It is important to cut the square the correct measurement.  If you have a hard time knowing where 5/16" is it is one little line past the 1/4" mark.

Click here to view the really quick tip video how I created the window with the Decorative Label Technique.

I corner rounded the edges and also ran it through the Big Shot using the Decorative Dots Embossing folder

The flower vases are stamped in Tuxedo Black using the Vivid Vases Stamp.  I then colored them in with the Stampin' Write Markers (Soft Sky, Real Red, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight).    The ribbon is the Daffodil Delight Cotton Ribbon.

Itty Bitty Accents Punched Flowers

The little flowers are punched out with the Itty Bitty Accent Punch Pack (the flower punch). I colored the pearls with a yellow Sharpie Marker.  Love to customize our pearls.

Thanks for stopping by I hope you enjoyed today's quick tip!
