Hello Stampers,

Welcome to the Grand Vacation Achievers Blog Hop for August. The theme for the hop this month is Holiday Sneak Peek which goes "LIVE" on September 1st (if you live in Canada and want a copy please email me!) We are all excited to share some holiday projects using new amazing stamps, paper and accessories!

You may be starting from here at my blog  or may have come here from the previous person to me on the list. Please be sure to click the person after me to move along the blog hop. If you get off track at any time, the full line up below will help you hop along from blog to blog.  You don't want to miss out on any of the other projects this month.  If you are viewing this by email please click over to my blog to view the list of participants.

Let's get started…

I'm loving the new Winter Wishes Stamp Set because I love all things "vintage" and this reminds me of sledding and skating as a kid.  Believe it or not I actually had a pair of skis that looked like these ones too, only they were yellow.  I've even tried snow showing at one time.

There are some amazing products for your Big Shot in the Holiday catalogue too including the fabulous Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and the Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies.  The sentiment is from Holly Jolly Greetings stamp set.

I finished it off by adding some Crumb Cake seam binding ribbon and a Antique Vintage Brad.  The tag was punched with the Scalloped Tag Topper.

When the catalogue goes live on September 1st check back here for a complete supply list with pictures (Stampin' Up! rules mean no pics can be posted of the actual products until launch day!)

Alison – great card and such a feeling of whimsy with it. . . for Christmases past perhaps. Love the tagging of the stamped image and colours.

You’ve created a lovely vintage look in your card by using this stamp with your selected colours.

Alison I LOVE how you used this set with the embellishments. A different way than I would have thought of and I absolutely LOVE it!!!

I haven’t seen this set used since Pam’s presentation at convention! Thank you for reminding me of it! I LOVE the Antique Brad…it’s easy to forget about those now that they’ve been out a while.

Lovely project Alison! That set is so nostalgic and sweet……reminds me of a sleigh ride I had in Austria one Christmas 🙂
