Hello Stampers,
In our fast paced world of texts, skype, facetime and Facebook we sometimes forget how special it is to receive a handmade card in the mail. We all get busy but you can help yourself by making cards ahead of time and having them ready for any occasion.
I'm always so fortunate to receive handmade Christmas cards in the mail and I so appreciate the time it took the sender to make it and mail it. I can't showcase all the cards I've received and I love them ALL but I did want to show you some special ones I received this year.
This one is from one of my long time club members, Vicki Drovinz, and it's so beautiful. I really love all the layering and textures Vicki included in the card along with the non-traditional colour for the holiday. Isn't this pretty?
Vicki used some wonderful Stampin' Up! product including Wonderland Stamp Set and the Snowflake Elements. Here's a complete listing of the ingredients:

Love the technique on the card from Vicki. Is the trees stamped on white CS and then the dotted is embossed on the vellum? I have never used Vellum.
Thanks Lora
Hi,
Yes Vicki stamped the trees on Whisper White and then embossed the vellum and placed it over the stamped image. Very effective – you need to try it yourself!
Thank you Alsion for a prompt reply. I will have to try this.
