Hello Stampers,
Another day of sharing some handmade cards I've received this year.
This card is a WOW – the sparkle from the gold designer series paper is gorgeous! This card is from my friend (and Stampin' Up! team member) Debbie Tompkins. Debbie used the Wonderland stamp set. This was a very popular stamp set this year. The cards I posted yesterday also used the same set. Debbie stamped the trees several times from the set on the Winter Wonderland Specialty Designer Series Paper (on sale in the Year End Clearance!).
Here are some of the products used in Debbie's gorgeous card:
The camera doesn't do this card justice because the artist, Cathy Wallace, used the Dryer Sheet Technique and it's difficult to see how beautiful it is in person. Cathy used a favourite stamp set of mine – Lovely As a Tree Stamp set which is perfect for so many occasions.
I wanted to share one last card with you before Christmas that I received from my friend (and team member), Colleen Vassos. It was one of my favourites from this year!
I'm sure why you can see it was one of my favourites. This card is so gorgeous in person. I love the use of vellum for the earth image from The Open Sea stamp set. The "Peace" die cut is from the Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies and "On Earth" from the matching Holly Jolly Greetings stamp set. You can bundle these stamps and thinlits up and save 15%! Both of these items have been carried forward beyond the Holiday Catalogue so you'll still be able to purchase them in the New Year (to use next year!) AND earn a free Sale-a-bration reward when you purchase them after January 5th. You can't tell from the picture but the card "sparkles" from glitter – so beautiful!
Here are some of the products Colleen used in her card:
How many Christmas cards do you send out each year? Do you make them yourself? If you do make them, what is your favourite stamp set this year? Please leave me a comment on my blog – I'd love to know you are out there somewhere in cyber land! If you do I'll mail you a handmade card if you live in Canada!

I usually send out about 20-25 homemade cards. ONE of my favorite sets this year was Wonderland. The three trees are just so classic and the font is beautiful!! Stamping’ Up! outdid themselves this year with the Holiday catty!! One of the best ever!!
Merry Christmas Alison!!
