Stamp Crazy with Alison

Free Stamps….Free Cards….Occasions & Sale-a-bration cards!

January 2, 2016 by Alison Solven

Hello Stampers,

It's Border Buddy Saturday and it's Alison here today with another sneak peek from the Occasions catalogue.

The stamp set is called Number of Years with a matching set of Big Shot dies called Large Numbers Framelits.  The beautiful thing about matching stamps and dies is that you can easily cut out the elements from the stamp set plus they are offered as a bundle for 15% off!

You can make any number for any occasion! Birthday, Anniversary, Year and more!  The set includes stamps 0 – 9 so any number combination is possible and you also get other elements too.

Here's what's included the  Number of Years stamp set & matching dies.

Can you imagine the possibilities? Here's my card for today's share.

Number of years stamp set, large numbers framelits Dies, watermelon wonder 1 stitched satin ribbon

  1. Emboss the 11" x 4 1/4" Whisper White cardstock with the Large Polka Dot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
  2.  Stamp "Happy Birthday" in Versamark ink on a 4" x 2 1/2" Pool Party piece and emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set.
  3. Corner Round the top two corners of the Pool Party piece with Project Life Corner Punch.
  4. Glue the Pool Party  piece to the lower left side of the card front.
  5. Wrap the Watermelon Wonder 1" Stitched Satin Ribbon around the front of the card and tie in loose knot.
  6. Punch a 1 3/4" circle from Pool Party cardstock and glue to the middle of the ribbon.
  7. Cut out your "number" from Watermelon Wonder cardstock using the Large Numbers Framelits Die and glue to the middle of the Pool Party Circle.
  8. Add the corresponding number of buttons to the card (matching your "age").  I used the Brights Collection Designer Buttons.
  9. Enjoy!

Here's a cute card I made for a 5th Birthday girl or boy!

Patsy and I offer free cards and instructions each month as a thank you gift for ordering from us online.  The stamp set for January is Number of Years and we have some gorgeous cards to share with you.

Here's a little tease about one of the other stamp sets Patsy and I will be using in our January Border Bundle Classes. It's called Honeycomb Happiness (available in wood or clear-mount) from the Sale-a-bration catalogue and is FREE with a $60 (Canadian) or $50 (US) purchase starting January 5th.  Free is always awesome right?!  AND what's even better news?  If you order the Number of Years Stamp Set & Large Numbers Framelits Dies as a Bundle you will earn this cute set (or anything from the Sale-a-bration catalogue you want) for FREE!

This little chick is so adorable.  Plump and fluffy!  Our January cards use the other images in the set too – love the ice-cream cone!
