Hello Stampers,
The Picture Perfect Photopolymer Stamp Set from the Occasions Catalogue is beautiful and because it's "see through" you can place the stamps perfectly for the 2 or 3 step stamping experience. Each time you add a stamp on top of the other you create more dimension.
In my card I use the star fish with Crumb Cake and Soft Suede inks. The Hardwood background stamp has been inked in Crumb Cake and stamped on Pink Pirouette to give an aged look to the wood. I also added Wink of Stella Glitter Pen to the stamped starfish because I'm in love with this product and it makes images just "POP".
I added some white 1 1/4" Jute Ribbon and 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon. I actually cut off the edge of the burlap so I could peel off some of the strands and then formed the element beneath the starfish.
The rose in this card is stunning and is created by building up colour one stamp at a time. It's easy with this set as the roses are labeled from 1 – 3 making it easy to figure out the stamping order.
Here is the hummingbird image which actually has 4 stamps to create the final image. Each stamp adds more detail and dimension and builds up different colours just by lining up the images as you stamp.
Here is a video showing you how to line up the images to create stunning finished projects.
Here are the products used to create these projects.
Great card. I can’t tell in the photo it looks like you used very vanilla for the greeting and the starfish. Am I correct?
Thanks Shari. Yes I used Very Vanilla for both images. Glad you liked it!
