Do you like to watercolour? If you are like me you find it relaxing and a great stress reliever.
The new Helping Me Grow stamp set from the Occasions Catalogue and it's a lovely set of flowers perfect for colouring.
I stamped the daisy image on Very Vanilla cardstock with the Basic Black Archival ink and coloured using an Aqua Painter. I used Pink Pirouette and Regal Rose for the flower and Pear Pizzazz for the stems. Don't worry if you colour outside of the lines because it will look more natural.
This is a "fancy fold" card – the little circle is popped up on the the right side only so that the stamped piece slips under to hold in place. Just open the card by slipping the stamped panel from under the circle. The little splats are made with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set – if you don't own this you seriously have to get it asap!
I also added some "bling" by colouring over the petals with the Wink of Stella Glitter Pen. The "plate" matches the Rose Garden Thinlits Dies so you don't even have to fussy cut it out. The sentiment is from Picture Perfect Photopolymer Stamp Set.
