Today is is the third Tuesday of the month and time for our next Colour Your World, International Stampin' Up! Blog Hop. This is an exciting bunch of top demonstrators from around the world sharing a card inspired by a colour combination. We all make a card using the colours in the challenge. It's so fun to see what everyone comes up with because there are never two the same! I am excited to be part of this amazing hop.
Here is the April Colour Palette
I started out with Sahara Sand for the base of the card. Then I stamped the flower stem from the Gifts of Kindness Stamp Set in the Tangerine Tango on Whisper White Cardstock. I thought the Tangerine Tango would make a great focal point and really POP. The Whisper White Cardstock is matted with Bermuda Bay and Early Espresso Cardstock.
The patterned paper is from the Bohemian Designer Series Paper and bow is Early Espresso Seam Binding. The small flower is Pool Party cardstock punch out with the flower from the Itty Bitty Accent Punch Pack and topped off with the small Metal Rimmed Pearl. The Stampin' Up! self adhesive Metal Rimmed Pearls com 24 in a package with 3 different sizes.
The larger flower is from the Flower Shop stamp set and stamped in Bermuda Bay Classic Ink and punched out with the Pansy Punch. I then stamped the flower again in Early Espresso and punched just the center out with 1/2" circle punch and applied it to the center with a half a Dimensional. I then put a medium sized Metal Rimmed Pearl in the middle.
Don't you love how the pearl looks with the dotted flower center?
