Patsy and I have a brand new post every Thursday called "Just in CASE". CASE in the stamping world means COPY AND SHARE EVERYTHING.
We thought it would be fun to show you how you can use the paper crafting projects in the Stampin’ Up! Catalogue to inspire you! When I'm "stuck" creativitely I often look at the cards and projects made by the Concept Artists at Stampin' Up! for ideas. In our Thursday Just in CASE feature we might copy it exactly, or tweak it by changing the colours or even the stamp set.
Today I've CASED this little tag shown on Page 21 of the 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue. It uses the Biggest Birthday Ever stamp set.
I took the tag and made it into a full card. I love how it turned out. It was simple to add the other elements when I was CASEing the main stamped image.
Have you noticed the Irresistibly Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper (page 172)? It's White-on-white designs that "pop" when you add ink.
It's so easy to ink the paper with the NEW Sponge Brayer (comes with 2 handles and 4 sponges). I just inked up my brayer with Melon Mambo ink and wheeled it across the paper so the pattern just "pops".
I embossed the card front with the Large Polka Dot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder – I thought it was a perfect match to the circles in the paper.
As a final touch I added Rhinestones which fit perfectly in the little circles on the paper.
Would you like to make this card yourself? I've created a PDF downloadable Tutorial (including measurements & supply list) for my card today.

Here are the other projects that the Concept Artists came up with for the catalogue. Wouldn't that ice-cream tag make a fabulous card?
We hope you will enjoy this new weekly feature. Leave a comment and let me know what you think!

I love it!!! Change up the colour and it would make a great guy card! I always have a tough time with masculine cards.
Love the color combination – great card Alison!
