Border Buddies 12 Weeks of Christmas Week 4

October 29, 2016 by Patsy Waggoner

29 Oct

Hello Stampers

It's Border Buddy Saturday, Patsy here this week.

Here is week 4 of our 12 Weeks of Christmas Series devoted to Christmas Cards.

Border Buddies Merry Mice Stamp Set by Stampin Up

Want to add some interesting color to your card.

Today's card features the Merry Mice stamp set and the Paper Piercing Technique.

  • Here I stamped the little Deck the Halls mouse in Basic Black on a piece of Very Vanilla 2 3/4" x 3 3/4".
  • Then I re-inked him up and stamped the hat part on a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock and cut it out and glued it to the hat on the Very Vanilla.
  • I re-inked him again and stamped the scarf area on a piece of Garden Green cardstock and cut it out and glued it to the scarf on the Very Vanilla.

The black dots are the White Perfect Accents colored with a black sharpie marker.  You can custom color these great accents with any color permanent marker.  I punched out a little circle of Gold Glimmer Paper for his stocking cap pom pom.

You can download your FREE tutorial with the image, supply list, measurement and directions to make this card.
