It's Just in Case Thursday when Patsy & I pick a project made by one of the Stampin' Up! concept artists and make it our own. As the saying goes "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" so we either CASE (copy it exactly) or use it as inspiration for our own project. Today I picked a card on page 12 of the Holiday Catalogue. This card was one of our Border Buddy cards for October and I invite you to read about our Free Card offerings:
Patsy's Free Card Offer (US)
Alison's Free Card Offer (Canada)
This is the original card. I changed the stamp set (Wrapped in Warmth) to the adorable Merry Mice because I just love them! I used the Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack just like the original and substituted the Delightful Dijon 3/8" Ribbon for the Kraft Rope Trim.
I made two versions of the card – one where I stamped the mice on Whisper White cardstock and coloured just some of the elements and the other where I stamped the mice on Crumb Cake and just left them uncoloured. Which version do you like best? Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
Let's hop over and check out Patsy's card today.
