It's Thursday and that means it's Just In Case day! Every Thursday my BorderBuddy, Patsy Waggoner, and I share a card we have CASED from another project in a current catalogue. We might copy it exactly or switch it up by changing the stamp sets or colours.
Here is the original card from page 3 of the Holiday catalogue that I CASED today.
I switched up the stamp set from the Holly Jolly Layers Hostess set to the brand new Dragonfly Dreams stamp set from the upcoming Occasions catalogue.
This is the inside of today's card. The dots are stamped in Sweet Sugarplum and the words from the Dragonfly set are stamped in Basic Gray Archival ink.
My card today is actually a CASE of a CASE because I used the same layout on a card I posted earlier. Here was my original CASE using the Best Birds stamp set. I wanted to showcase how you can use the same layout over and over again.
So let's look at some of the elements of my card for today:
I stamped the wings of the butterfly in Basic Gray Archival ink and then stamped the wings in Sweet Sugarplum. This set is a 2 step stampin' style set and it has a matching set of framelits making the cutting out of the dragonfly so easy. I added some rhinestone on the body of the dragonfly to add some bling along with Wink of Stella on the wings to make them sparkle.

Thank you so much Debi for noticing that error in the measurements. I’ve fixed it now. Much appreciative of you letting me know!
