Border Buddy Saturday - Be My Valentine

Today's card features product from the Sending Love Suite on pages 14 & 15 of the Occasions catalogue. The Occasions catalogue sale period starts on January 4th! I love all the wonderful offerings in the suite and how it all coordinates so you don't have to think too much about what embellishments to use together.

I started by embossing my Whisper White piece Falling Petals Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. It's very subtle but adds texture to the cardstock. The sentiment is from Suite Sentiments stamp set from page 54 of the Occasions catalogue. I love the saying "Love is in the Air Mail" and it works perfectly with the little "letter" on the front of the card. The Suite Sentiments stamp set covers many types of greetings including Easter, Love, Graduation, Thank You and Masculine. A perfect sentiment stamp set.

The Love Notes Framelits Dies are gorgeous and I used them for the edging of the card and the envelope and hearts. Don't you love the row of hearts that run down the side of this card?The thinlit cuts it out and scores the heart so you can pop it out – all in one pass on the Big Shot.

The ribbon is also from the Sending Love Suite. The Sending Love Ribbon Combo Pack includes 5 yards each of Real Red and Whisper White 1/8" grosgrain ribbon.

The paper is from the Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack. I love Paper Stacks because you get so many designs and the size of the paper is perfect for card making. Nothing is wasted.
