It's Card Swap Sunday, my new weekly series where I share a card I've received in a swap or that I've made for a swap.
Today's card was made by Karen Duke and I received it at our business conference in Toronto in January. The stamp set is called High Tide and it's available in the Occasions Catalogue.
The colours are added with a sponge starting at the top and adding layers of colour as you move down the cardstock. The images are added after the colours are added. I also love the reverse masking technique on this card. It's easy to create. Just mask off the edges with post it notes and then add colour and images, remove the post it notes and your picture has a "frame".
I showed the reverse masking technique in a video from a few years ago. Reverse Masking really is about creating a "framed out" area on a card.
