It's Colour Your World Blog Hop with Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from our global Stampin' Up! family!

This month we have a monochromatic colour palette. The adorable cat reminds Sam (one of our hoppers) of her cat Fennel so I thought I would make a card to honour her kitty using the Little Cuties Photopolymer Stamp Set.

I started by adding some Urban Underground Designer Series Paper and Washi Tape across the front of my Shimmery White cardstock.  I stamped the kitten image and hat in Basic Black Archival ink on a Shimmery White and cut out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  The kitty is coloured with our new Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pen.  I added a little Melon Mambo to her ears and hat because I thought she was a little too plain.

I love this set so much and it's so easy to add the ears, hat, crown and rocker pieces because the set is photopolymer so you can "see" exactly where to place them.  This set is on the retirement list so if you want this set make sure you order it soon.  It will be guaranteed to be available until May 22.

I added some Basic Black Thick Baker's Twine becaues what's a kitty without some twine to play with right? I also wanted to add some texture to the card.  When you watercolor an image make sure to "anchor" it with some ground underneath it.

Thanks Anna & Arlene – had to use the kitty this month when I saw the cat on our palette. Love this set – so sad it’s retiring.
