Stamp Crazy with Alison

On Stage Sneak Peek of New Product

April 11, 2017 by Alison Solven

11 Apr

I was excited to be in Toronto last week for Stampin' Up!'s On Stage event.  300 demonstrators gathered from Canada and the US to learn stamping tips and business ideas.  We also were the first to see the brand new catalogue coming on June 1st.  That's a perk of being a demonstrator – you get to see and order new products before they launch.  Ask me about joining my team and seeing the catalogue now!

I was asked to present a brand new suite of products called Color Theory and I had tons of fun creating my samples for my presentation.

Here I am all "miked" up for my talk.  You kinda feel like Beyonce with the little mike.

It was the 15th Anniversary of Stampin' Up!'s launch in Canada! Did you know that I was one of the first demonstrators in Canada? I signed up on the very first day and I'm demonstrator #7.  I've had a blast and time has flown by.

So would you like to see my samples?

Believe it or not these are only 9 of my samples – I made 17 and I will share more later.  I hope this has whet your appetitie for more.  The Colorful Seasons stamp set covers off all four seasons (well in Canada we know there is the 5th season called Hockey right?) and the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies are a perfect match – some of the dies match up with the stamps while others are meant to be used on their own (like the snowflakes and Adirondack chairs).  Some of the stamps are two step stamping like the summer sling chair, flowers and leaves.  Don't you think the leaves would be perfect for cards and memory keeping celebrating Canada's 150th Birthday in July?

Can you see any other NEW product on my samples? Hint – ribbon, glitter dots and cool designer series paper! Oh and one more thing…a new In Color – Berry Burst – it's yummy.

Don't forget to check out the retiring product list – it's selling like hot cakes and most of the products are only available while supplies last (I hate those three little words).
