Welcome to my blog! Today I'm participating in a Blog Hop featuring our amazing Host Reward Stamp Set.  I've chosen to highlight the Tranquil Tulips Photopolymer Stamp Set.  I love the two-step images that allow you to build up the final image by layering stamps on top of each other.

Tranquil Tulips Blog Hop 1 www.stampcrazywithalison.ca

I used the Melon Mambo ink on my flowers.  The first image is stamped off first before stamping on the oval Stitched Shape Shimmery White piece.  The second image is stamped full strength on top of the first one.  I repeated the same technique with the Lupins.

It's so easy to build up the images because you can see through the photopolymer stamps for perfect placement!  The sentiment is from Fabulous Flamingo.  I wanted to go for a very country look so used some of the patterned paper from the Wood Textures Designers Series Paper Stack. The patterns are fabulous!

  • 48 sheets
  • 4 each of 12 double-sided designs
  • 6" x 6"

The designs in this paper stack are perfect for the brand new Wood Crate Framelits – check out some of these adorable projects made by the concept artists at Stampin' Up!

The background paper on the card is from the Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack.

The patterns vary from an ombre look (like the piece in my card) to paint chip and crackle paint look.  I love this pack of patterns so much and they coordinate with Berry Burst, Old Olive, Crush Curry and Dapper Denim cardstock and inks.

I hope you've enjoyed my card today featuring the Tranquil Tulips Host Reward stamp set.  How can you earn this set for yourself? Well it's easy.  Host a party (get your friends together for a fun stamping time) or place an order of $200 or more.  Either will earn you free host rewards that you can use to select this awesome set.z

It's time to hop along to the next stamper and check out the other awesome projects using our Host Reward sets!   I've included a supply list for my card at the bottom of this post so scroll down to check it out.

I really like the idea of layering the oval on top of the square scalloped framelits. Beautiful card.

Love it! I used the same paper and colors for my card too 🙂 Great way to showcase the gorgeous gradients in the Color Theory DSP.

I was thrown at first when you mentioned the Wood Textured DSPS but then I noticed it as the scallop square. So clever!
